Our small office is tucked away in Vile Parle East, specifically at Krishna Alankar on Tejpal Scheme Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how tight space can be around here. We’re on the second floor, in room 201. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of people always walking by and the sound of the trains not too far off. Titvi Hospitality is a small outfit; we don't have a giant board of directors or anything like that. It’s just us trying to manage our business in a city that never really stops moving. The office itself is pretty plain, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of files piled up. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or meeting with people who help us keep our properties running. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure supplies arrive on time and that the staff at our different locations know what they’re doing. Sometimes things go wrong, a delivery is late or a guest is unhappy, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We don’t pretend to be perfect. We just do the best we can with what we have. Most of us take the train to get here, so we know the daily struggle of the Mumbai commute. That kind of real-world experience helps us stay grounded in how we run things.
