Tilco Roadlines

We've been running Tilco Roadlines for a while now from our spot in Durga Nagar. Most people know the area because it's right across from Matoshri Club in Andheri East. It’s a busy place with a lot of traffic, but that’s just how it is around here. We deal with moving things from one place to another. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's a bit quieter, which gives us time to catch up on paperwork in the chawl. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a simple room where we keep our logs and talk to drivers. Pyarelal Chawl has been our base for a long time. People stop by to ask about rates or just to see when a truck is coming back. We know the roads around here pretty well. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult or the traffic gets backed up near the club, but we manage to get through it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people, just a few of us making sure the loads get where they need to go. If you walk past the chawl, you'll probably see us or one of the guys waiting for a delivery update. It's hard work, especially in the heat, but it keeps us busy every day of the week. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the schedule as much as possible without making things more complicated than they need to be.
