Our place is located right in Marine Lines, and we’ve been operating out of this same building for a long time. It’s an old area with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy boxes. Inside the workshop, there is always some kind of noise from the machines running. We deal with industrial parts and supplies, mostly stuff that other businesses need to keep their own operations going. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The walls are a bit stained from years of work and we have stacks of ledgers and paperwork on the desks that never seem to go away. Most of the guys here have been with us for years, so we all know how the equipment works. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it ourselves. That’s just part of the routine. We get deliveries coming in early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. Being near the station helps since it's easy for people to find us, even if the building looks a bit plain from the outside. We don't spend much on decorating because we’re usually too busy filling orders. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day with our tools and materials.
