Thomas Bakesr (Chemicals) Pvt. Ltd has been at Bharat Mahal for quite some time. We are situated at 4/86 on Marine Drive. Being right there on the coast means we get that salt air all year round. The building is one of those classic structures that everyone recognizes when they walk along the promenade. Our office inside is fairly traditional. We deal with chemicals, so there’s always paperwork and files piled up on the desks. It’s not a modern glass office; it has the high ceilings and the old-fashioned layout you’d expect from a place on Marine Drive. The view is nice, but we spend most of our time looking at our work. The traffic on the road outside never really stops. You can hear the cars rushing by from sunrise until late at night. Sometimes the sea breeze is strong enough that we have to make sure the papers don't fly off the tables. We’ve got neighbors who have been here as long as we have. It’s a well-known address, but for us, it’s just where we come to work every morning. We take the lift up, settle in, and get through the day's tasks. It’s a steady pace of life. We’re part of the history of this road in our own small way. It’s a solid building to be in, and we’re quite used to the rhythm of Bharat Mahal. We just keep things moving along steadily.
