The Veg Treat Royale

We've been at the junction of Chandarvarkar and Eksar Road for a while now. Most people around Borivali West know us as the place in Mayur Tower. The Veg Treat Royale is a vegetarian spot, and we keep things pretty simple here. The kitchen stays busy, especially during the evenings when people are heading home or out with their families. It’s not a fancy place, just a spot to get a meal without much fuss. We started out because we wanted a decent place for veg food in this part of town. Sometimes the tables are a bit crowded, and it gets loud when the lunch rush hits, but that’s just how it is in Mumbai. The staff has been with us for years, so they know the regulars by name. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us by walking past the tower or hearing about us from their neighbors. We try to keep the place clean and the food coming out hot. It’s hard work running a kitchen every day of the week, but we manage. If you’re around the junction, you’ll see the sign. It’s nothing too special to look at from the outside, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time making sure the ingredients are fresh every morning. That's basically the whole story. No big corporate backing or anything like that, just a local business trying to stay on top of things in a busy neighborhood.
