The Supreme Industries

The Supreme Industries is based in Solitaire Corporate Park in Chakala, Andheri East. We are in units 1161 and 1162. It is a very different vibe from a factory floor because it’s a big corporate complex. You have to go through the security gates and deal with the elevators every morning. The area on Guru Hargovind Ji Marg is always bustling with people from all sorts of companies. Our office is fairly large but it stays pretty busy with people running back and forth between desks. You can see the traffic on the Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road from some of the higher windows. It gets really backed up during the monsoon. Inside, it’s mostly computers, filing cabinets, and people talking about production schedules. We aren't really the type to have a lot of decorations. It’s a functional space for a large company. There is a lot of paperwork because of how much we handle. The breakroom usually has someone sitting there drinking tea and looking at their phone. We have meetings, but they are mostly just to figure out what needs to be done next. It’s a lot of coordination. Even though we are in a fancy corporate park, the work is still very practical. We deal with plastics and industrial goods, so the talk is always about supply chains and logistics. It’s a steady pace here, day in and day out, right in the middle of Mumbai. We usually stay late when the month ends.
