The Source

If you head to Malad West and find your way to Link Road, you will see a lot of big buildings near Chincholi Bunder. We are in one of those, at number 1303. The Source is the name on the door. It’s a bit of a trek up to the thirteenth floor, but the view of the traffic on Link Road is something else. We have a lot of stock coming in and out, so there are always boxes being moved near the elevators. The office itself is mostly storage and a couple of desks where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a fancy retail space where things are displayed on velvet. It’s more of a distribution hub where things are packed and labeled. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with drivers and checking the lists. Malad is always moving, and being on the Link Road means we are right in the middle of that energy. The windows are usually shut tight to keep the noise and dust from the construction outside away from the equipment. It can get a bit lonely up here away from the street level, but we stay busy enough that the day goes by fast. Sometimes the elevator takes forever to arrive, so we’ve learned to be patient. We are just a group of people doing our jobs in a big building at Chincholi Bunder.
