Nikshan International

Our office is based in Thakur Village, over at Viceroy Park in Tower A. We are in room 5A. It is a pretty well-known spot in Kandivali East, right near all the local shops and the big apartment blocks. Our business handles international trade and some sourcing for different items. The office is not very large, but it is enough space for the few of us who work here. We spend a lot of our time looking at various spreadsheets and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the noise from the village market filters in, but it is mostly a quiet enough place to get things done. We have been here for a few years now and have gotten to know the neighborhood and the other shop owners well. It is a mix of residential and business, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than an office in a downtown skyscraper. We do not really have a sales pitch or a fancy presentation. We just take the orders, find what people are looking for, and try to get it shipped out on time. It involves a lot of waiting on emails from people in other countries, which can be a bit frustrating when the time differences are large. The team is just a handful of us. We share the workload and do not worry about any fancy corporate stuff. We just keep moving along with the daily tasks.
