You can find Maharashtra Electronic Industries over at unit 16 in the Vijay Kailash Industrial Estate. We are right across from the Yadav Godown on Transport Lane Number 2. It’s a real industrial area, so don't expect anything pretty. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. We’ve been working out of this estate for a long time. Our space is filled with components, tools, and half-finished projects. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We handle various electronic manufacturing tasks here. It’s a local business, run by people who grew up around here. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this lane for years. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of solder and grease from the nearby workshops. We keep the doors open when it's hot, though it doesn't help much. It’s just a regular workshop where we put in the hours. 16 Vijay Kailash is our home base. It’s nothing special to look at, but it’s where we get the job done every day. We close up around six most evenings, unless there is a big order to finish. It’s noisy, it’s busy, and it’s how we like it.
