The Salon At 18 Degrees North

You can find us in the Centrium Mall over in Lokhandwala Complex, Kandivali East. We are in Shops 53 and 54. We are right near the Monginis Cake Shop, which is a good landmark because everyone knows where the cakes are. Being in a mall is different from a street shop because people are usually here for shopping or food and then they see us. We get a lot of walk-ins that way. The Salon At 18 Degrees North has a decent amount of space since we have two shop numbers combined. We do hair, nails, and all the usual stuff. It is a bright space with plenty of light. We have a good team of people who have been with us for a while. We don't have a big story about why we started, we just wanted a good spot to cut hair and the mall seemed like a good idea. It gets really busy when there is a holiday or a big sale in the mall. We see families, teenagers, and older folks who are out for their daily walk. It’s a nice mix of people. We try to keep our prices fair for the area. Most people who come in live in the Lokhandwala towers nearby. We’ve become a bit of a regular stop for them during their weekend errands. It’s just a solid, local shop in a big building. Sometimes the mall music gets annoying but we're used to it.
