The Resort

If you head all the way down to Aksa Beach in Malad West, you will find us at 11, Madh Marve Road. The Resort has been sitting here by the water for a long time. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, especially with the Mumbai traffic, but once you arrive, the air feels a little different. We’re right there in the 400095 area. Our days are mostly spent dealing with the sand and the salt air, which can be tough on a building. We have a lot of space, and there is always something that needs fixing or painting. It’s not like the busy hotels in the middle of the city. Things move a bit slower out here on the coast. People come by when they want to see the ocean or just get away from the noise for a bit. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us trying to keep the place looking okay for whoever shows up. Sometimes the weather gets rough, and the wind picks up off the beach, but we just hunker down. The building has been here through many seasons and we just keep on going. It's not always easy keeping the sand out of the lobby, but we try. It’s a simple life out here on Madh Marve Road. We see families, couples, and sometimes just folks walking along Aksa. We’re just a local spot that’s been around, doing our thing day after day.
