The Little Flower Education Centre

You can find us over in Andheri East at Kathwada 2/A. It’s a small place, nothing like those big institutes you see on the main roads with the neon lights. We started this because we wanted a place where local students could come for extra help without having to travel too far on the train. The rooms aren't very big, and the chairs are just the basic plastic kind you find everywhere. But it's a decent, quiet place to learn. We handle different subjects depending on who needs help that week, mostly math and science. There's always a bit of dust because of the road construction nearby, but we sweep it out every single morning before anyone arrives. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking noise, which we should probably get someone to fix one of these days. It’s a very local operation through and through. We know most of the parents by their first names because they live just a couple of streets over from us. We don't spend any money on big advertisements or flyers. Usually, one kid tells another they liked it here, and that's how we stay busy. It’s simple, honest work that we enjoy. We show up, open the heavy shutters, and get right to the lessons. There’s no secret formula here, just spending time on the books and making sure the kids actually understand what they're reading. That’s how we’ve been doing things at 2/A for quite a while now.
