The Leela Kempinski

We are over at D-118 on Curry Road in Mumbai 400013. This is not the big airport location people usually think of. We are right here in the middle of the city. Curry Road is a very old part of Mumbai with a lot of history and narrow streets. Our building is D-118. It is a busy area with a lot of small businesses and people rushing to the station. We spend our days managing things from this office. It is a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of stuff inside. The walls could use a new coat of paint, to be honest. We have been here for quite some time now. You can hear the trains passing by if it is quiet enough. We drink tea from the stall at the corner. The people around here are mostly workers and shop owners. We fit right in. It is a practical place to be because everything is close by. We do not have any fancy furniture. Just some desks and chairs that have seen better days. We do our work and talk to the people who come by. Sometimes the traffic on Curry Road gets so bad that we just stay inside until it clears up. It is just a normal office life for us in 400013. We keep the books and handle the messages that come in for the company. We are just a small part of this big city.
