The Learning Curve, Malad

You can find us at The Learning Curve in Malad West, specifically at the Amiraj Row House. It’s Plot No 33 in Evershine Nagar, which is a fairly well-known residential pocket. Being near the Movietime Cinema is a big help because everyone knows where that is. We are just off the Link Road, so the commute isn't too bad for the staff, though the traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings. The row house setting gives it a much more homey feel than a typical commercial building. We have a little front area and the rooms inside are used for various activities throughout the day. The shelves are mostly overflowing with art supplies and toys that have been used a thousand times. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors and keeping the front porch clean. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a lot going on, but that’s the charm of a row house. The noise from the Link Road stays mostly in the distance, so it’s relatively peaceful inside. We don't use any fancy management systems; it's mostly just notebooks and a lot of talking to keep things running. It’s an honest, local business where the staff has been around for a long time. We just like the familiar routine of opening the gates every morning and seeing the same faces in the neighborhood.
