If you are looking for us, we are at Bungalow No. 2, Bhagyalaxmi Bungalow. It’s in that 3rd Cross Lane right opposite Pearl Apartment. A good way to find the lane is to look for High Point Restaurant at Lokhandwala Complex and then head into the lane opposite it. It’s a busy part of Andheri West, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. Our bungalow is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main road. We’ve turned the different rooms into spaces for the children to spend their day. It’s a real house, so it has that cozy, slightly cramped feel that you only get in Lokhandwala. The kitchen area and the small garden out front get used a lot. We’re always tidying up toys or making sure the gate is shut properly. Sometimes the traffic in the lane makes it hard for parents to park, so we’re often out there helping direct cars. It’s not a sterile environment; there are scuffs on the walls and plenty of drawings taped up everywhere. We’ve been here long enough that the local delivery guys and the neighbors know us well. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big corporate office feel. It’s just a bunch of us working in a bungalow, trying to make sure the day goes smoothly for everyone who comes through the door.
