The Glam House Beauty Salon & Academy

The Glam House Beauty Salon & Academy is located in a bungalow, specifically Bungalow No 5 in the Mhada area of Four Bungalows. It’s on Jankidevi School Road in Andheri West, which is a bit of a different feel compared to being in a big shopping mall or a commercial plaza. We’re near the MTNL office and right opposite Vijaya Bank, so that helps people find us in the Mhada lanes. Being in a bungalow gives the salon a bit of a different layout, with different rooms used for various things. Since we also run an academy, there’s often a mix of people learning and people getting their hair or beauty services done. It’s a busy environment but in a more residential-feeling neighborhood. We have to keep things very organized because of the teaching side of the business. The road outside, Jankidevi School Road, gets its share of traffic from the school and the nearby offices, but it’s generally a nice spot to be. We open up every morning, get the equipment ready for the students, and prepare the salon stations. It’s a lot of work running both parts of the business from the bungalow, but we’ve gotten into a good rhythm with it. It’s a practical, hands-on place where things are happening all the time. No big corporate polish here, just a working salon and school in the middle of Andheri West.
