The Design Boutique

You can find us at 15 Durga Bhuvan on Shubhash Road in Vile Parle East. We are quite close to Parle Tilak Vidyalaya, which is a well-known school in this neighborhood. The Design Boutique is a small setup. It’s not a big corporate firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who really like working on interiors and making spaces look decent. The office has a very local feel to it. We often have people from the neighborhood walking in to ask questions or get some advice on a small renovation. We keep things informal. There’s usually a pile of magazines and samples on the main table. We spend our mornings checking emails and our afternoons visiting different sites around the city. Vile Parle East has a nice, old-school charm, and we like that our office reflects that. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to our clients. We just explain what we think will work and what won't. Sometimes we disagree on designs, and that leads to some long discussions over tea. It’s all part of the process of getting things right. We aren't looking to become a massive company; we just want to keep doing good work for the people who trust us with their homes and shops. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it works for us day after day.
