The Byke Hotel

The Byke Hotel is situated on Sarojini Road. We are in the 400056 area, which is a fairly well-known part of the city. Running a hotel means we are always on the clock. There is no such thing as a day off when you have guests staying over. The building is right there on the road, so it is easy to find if you are traveling through. We aren't trying to be a massive luxury resort, just a place for people to sleep and stay while they are in town. The staff here is small and we all do a bit of everything, from checking people in to making sure the rooms are okay. Sarojini Road gets its fair share of traffic and people walking by. It's a standard hotel setup with rooms and the basic things you’d expect. We have been part of this street for a while now. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us working on the floor. Most of our day is spent dealing with laundry, keys, and questions from the people staying with us. It can be tiring, but it’s the job we have. We don’t put out big ads or anything. We just stay open on Sarojini Road and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a simple business of providing a room for the night in a busy part of town.
