The Awakening

The Awakening is located at 356 Khar Old Tharagupet, Ram Janki, 400052. This part of Mumbai is always moving. We are in a spot that feels a bit tucked away, but once you find us, it is easy to remember where we are. The building is an old one, and it has that specific feel of the Khar neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign or anything too flashy. We just have our doors open for anyone who wants to come in. The space inside is cozy, maybe a bit cramped when it gets busy, but people don't seem to mind. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. There is always a floor to mop or a table to wipe down. Our team is small, just a few people who handle everything from the cooking to the cleaning. We don’t have a corporate office or a big boss. It is just us here every day. We see a lot of people from the local offices and some who live just around the corner. The street outside can be a bit of a mess with the traffic and the rain, but inside we try to keep it calm. It is a lot of hard work, especially in the humidity of Mumbai. We just take it one day at a time. It’s our little corner of the city and we’re happy to be here doing our work.
