The American Institutes

The American Institutes is based in Office No 420 on the 4th floor of Pearl Plaza in Andheri West. We are right next to the McDonald's, which is right by the station, so it’s incredibly easy to find us even if you’ve never been to this part of town before. Pearl Plaza is a very busy building with people constantly going up and down the elevators. Our office isn't massive, but we’ve managed to fit in enough desks for our students and a small area for us to sit. It’s a modern enough building, but it still has that slightly chaotic Mumbai energy with so many businesses packed together. We get a lot of foot traffic because of the location. People are always popping in to ask questions while they are on their way to the train or grabbing a burger downstairs. We don't have any flashy displays or high-end furniture. It’s just a practical space where we can sit down and focus on teaching. The view from the fourth floor is mostly just of the station and the tracks, which is quite a sight during rush hour. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while now and we like being in the middle of all the action in Andheri West. It’s a convenient place for everyone, and we just keep things running as best as we can every day. Most of our students are people commuting through the station.
