Thakur Transport Services

We run Thakur Transport Services from a few spots, but you can usually find our main activity opposite the Singh Industrial Estate in Goregaon West. We also have a presence at the P Acharya Block on Nibm Road in Kondhwa. Our office is near the Movie Star Cinema, which is a big help when we are giving directions to drivers who are new to the area. Transport is a messy business with a lot of phone calls and scheduling. We spend most of our time tracking where the trucks are and making sure they get to their destinations on time. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of paperwork and dealing with traffic delays. Between Goregaon and Kondhwa, we cover a lot of ground. Our desks are covered in maps, logs, and coffee cups. We don't use any fancy corporate language or have a big mission board. We just want to get things from one point to another without any trouble. The area near the cinema is always crowded, which makes parking the bigger vehicles a real challenge sometimes. We’ve built up a small team of people who know how to handle the roads and the tight schedules. It’s a lot of long hours and late-night calls. We don't promise the world, we just try to do the job we said we’d do for the people who rely on us.
