If you come down Nati Seva Sadan Road in Sector 22 B, you will find Teletime. It is not a very big place, just enough room for us to get our work done without bumping into each other too much. The street outside is usually filled with people walking to the local market or heading towards the park. We spend our days mostly dealing with phones and clocks, or whatever else people bring in that isn't working right. The morning starts with a quick sweep of the floor and a glass of tea from the stall around the corner. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some shelves filled with spare parts, and a few old chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door when the monsoon is heavy, so we have to move the boxes around. It keeps us on our toes I guess. Most of our customers are folks from the nearby buildings who have known us for years. We talk about the local news while we work on their stuff. It feels like a small village sometimes even though we are in the middle of everything. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a place where you can get things sorted without a fuss. We usually close up early on Sundays.
