Our office is located in Flat Number 8 at Raghuraj Bhavan on Gokhale Road. Being in this part of Mumbai means there is always something going on right outside our window. It’s a busy street and we’ve been part of the neighborhood for quite some time now. Tektronix India Pvt Ltd isn’t some huge office with hundreds of workers; it’s just a small group of us in an apartment building that we turned into our workspace. It feels a lot more like a home than a corporate headquarters, which suits us just fine. We don’t wear suits and we don’t have big meetings every hour. Usually, we are just busy with the work at hand, whether that’s technical support or just sorting out the daily logistics. Sometimes the building elevator acts up or the noise from the street gets a bit loud, but we’ve learned to ignore all that. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or trying to impress people with big words. We just want to get the job done and go home at a decent hour. Most of the people we deal with are just looking for straight answers, so that’s what we try to give them. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward with the daily grind, making sure the paperwork doesn't pile up too high on our desks.
