Tejas Enterprise

Tejas Enterprise is located in the heart of Mumbai’s hardware district on Nagdevi Street. We’re on the second floor of Unique House, in Room No. 02, right at 72-74. If you’ve ever been to Masjid Bunder West, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are constantly moving about. It’s a bit of a maze, but there’s a real sense of community among the shops here. Our office is small and usually stacked high with files and samples. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in from the street. It’s a busy way to live, but it’s what we know. The building is old and the stairs can be a bit steep, but it has character. We don't have a big fancy showroom; we mostly just work from our desks and keep things moving. There’s always the sound of carts being pushed outside and people shouting to each other across the street. It’s definitely not a quiet corporate environment. We focus on getting orders filled and making sure people get what they need. Some days are stressful when the deliveries are late or the weather is bad, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We’ve been here for years and we don’t see ourselves anywhere else. It’s a gritty, real place to do business and we like it that way.
