Technophile

Technophile is our little shop over in Kandivali East at number 2. We mostly do computer repairs and sell some hardware parts. I opened this place because I was always the person my friends called when their laptops stopped working. Now, I do it for the whole neighborhood. The shop is pretty small, and I have a long workbench that takes up most of the space. It is usually covered with motherboards, screws, and soldering irons. I try to keep it clean, but when you are in the middle of a job, things just get scattered. I don't have any employees, so if I’m out getting parts, the shop is locked up. People in Kandivali East are nice and they don't mind waiting a day or two for their repairs. I also sell things like mouse pads and USB cables that I keep on a rack near the door. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where I am. I don't use any fancy software to manage the business, just a simple spreadsheet on my own computer. Sometimes people come in just to ask for advice on what phone to buy, and I don't mind chatting with them. It’s a good way to spend the day, working on gadgets and talking to the local people who stop by. The tea stall next door is where I get my breakfast every morning.
