Technigue Team

You can find the Technigue Team over at Shop No 3 in Ambe Wadi, which is near Mithchowk in Malad West. Ambe Wadi is one of those spots that feels like a little neighborhood tucked inside the bigger city. Our shop is quite small, honestly. If three people stand inside at the same time, it starts to feel a bit crowded. We have tools spread out over the workbench and some spare parts kept in old plastic bins. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Malad West is always busy, especially around Mithchowk, so there is a lot of energy outside. We spend our time fixing things and trying to figure out technical problems that people bring to us. Some days we are successful and other days we have to tell someone that their gadget is beyond saving. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. People mostly find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby in the wadi. The floor is concrete and we have a couple of plastic chairs for anyone who needs to wait. During the monsoon, the dampness gets into everything, so we have to be careful with the equipment. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We like the local feel of being here in Malad and seeing the same faces every day.
