Tayal Institute

Our office is in the D Definity building, room 403, over on Road No 1 in Goregaon East. Being in Mumbai, everything is about how close you are to the station, and we are lucky to be quite near Goregaon Station. We are right above Cosmos Bank, which makes it easy for people to find the building. It is a typical commercial building with a lot of different offices, so there are always people coming and going in the elevators. The space itself is compact, but we make it work for what we need. We have a few desks for the staff and a larger area where the students sit for their lessons. Since we are in JP Nagar, there are plenty of places to grab a quick vada pav or a coffee downstairs during the break. The traffic on the road below is constant, but up on the fourth floor, it is a bit more manageable for us. We don’t have any flashy signs or high-end furniture. It is just a practical workspace where we spend our hours preparing notes and talking to students who stop by. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know the security guards and the folks at the bank pretty well by now. It is a busy life, and we are just one of many small institutes in the city.
