Our office for the Strategic Electronics Division is located in Bandra West at 12, Park View, on Prof. Almeida Road. Bandra is a lively part of Mumbai, but our street is tucked away enough that it isn't too loud. We are in a building that has been here for quite some time. It’s a small team, so we all know each other well. Most of our day is spent looking at electronic components and working on technical designs. The office feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters. We have some plants by the window that we forget to water, and the desks are always covered in wires and notes. Mumbai rains can make the commute a bit of a mess, but we still manage to show up. We usually order lunch from the local places nearby or bring something from home. It’s a simple environment. We don't have those big mission statements on the walls or fancy coffee machines. We just have a kettle and some biscuits. The work we do is specialized, but we talk about it in very plain terms. It’s a job that requires a lot of focus, so we keep the atmosphere quiet and steady. The Park View building is easy to find if you’re near the park, and we’ve been here long enough that we feel like a permanent part of the neighborhood. It’s just a normal office for people who enjoy technical work.
