We are based over on Akurli Road in Damu Nagar, right near where the Otis Elevator folks are. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this area is no different. We handle a lot of the mechanical and engineering work that keeps buildings running properly. Our workshop isn't a showroom; it's a place with heavy tools, grease, and the smell of metal. Most of our day is spent looking at blueprints or fixing parts that have worn down from too much use. We've been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us by the sound of our machines. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and get through the work. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of people in suits. We are just engineers and technicians who know how to handle steel and electricity. Sometimes we have to travel across the city to look at a site, but we always come back here to finish the actual fabrication or repairs. The traffic on Akurli Road can be a headache, but we’ve learned to work around it. We take our work seriously because if an elevator or a machine doesn't work right, it's a real problem for people. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're ordering supplies. Mostly, we're just out on the floor getting our hands dirty and making sure the jobs are done right. It's tough work but someone has to do it. We enjoy it.
