We are Taldangra Farmers Producer Company Limited and our main office is in Mumbai at the Ultra CHS Ltd building. It's on Dilip Gupte Marg, right in the Shivaji Park area of Mahim. It might seem strange to have a farmer company based in the middle of Mumbai City, but this is where the business happens. We are at A-24 in that building. A lot of our time is spent connecting the actual farming activities with the people who need the goods here in the city. It’s a busy life. The 400016 area is always crowded, so getting things in and out takes a lot of patience. We aren't some polished firm. We are just people who know about farming and decided to set up a professional structure to handle the sales and the logistics. It was a big step for us to move into this space. We handle all the distribution from here and keep track of what our members are growing out in the fields. It’s a lot of spreadsheets and phone calls honestly. We just wanted a solid base in Mumbai to represent the farmers better. There is always something breaking or a delay with transport, so we stay pretty busy. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign. It's just a place to work and make sure the farming business stays afloat in this economy. We are just regular people trying to manage the gap between the soil and the city.
