Taj Residency, Nashik

We are located out at P-17 in the MIDC Ambad area. Since we are right on the Mumbai-Agra Road, we get a lot of people driving through Nashik. It’s an industrial part of town, so there are a lot of factories and warehouses nearby. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks passing by on the highway. We have some trees around the building to help with that. The hotel is a place where people stop when they are tired of driving or have work in the local plants. We aren't in the middle of the city, so it's a bit different here. The staff mostly comes from the nearby villages or the main part of Nashik. We know the roads around here pretty well. The dining room is usually full of people talking about their workday. We try to keep the rooms quiet so people can actually get some sleep. The parking lot is big because people always have cars or vans. Sometimes the power goes out in this area but we have a generator that kicks in after a minute or two. It’s a practical place for people who have things to do in Ambad. We just keep things running. It’s not a fancy life but it’s steady work. We make sure there is enough tea and coffee for the morning crowd. The building has some scratches on the walls but we fix what we can when we have time.
