Tag Offshore Limited

Tag Offshore Limited is located up on the 13th floor of Bajaj Bhavan in the Nariman Point area. It’s a bit of a trek to get up here when the elevators are busy, but being in this part of town is just where the office is. Our space is part of the Dinbandhu Gidc Estate setup, which is a bit of a mouthful to say when giving directions. It looks out towards the water, though you have to be standing at just the right angle to see it past the other tall buildings. It’s a lot of desk work here, dealing with offshore logistics and coordinating things out at sea. The phones never seem to stop ringing, and there is always someone looking for a document or checking on a ship’s position. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just some maps pinned to the walls and rows of computers that stay on all day. The air conditioning is always humming in the background to keep the place cool. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea and talk about the weekend. It’s a busy atmosphere but not in a forced or corporate way. We’re just a group of people who know how the offshore world works and we get on with it. There’s no fancy mission statement on the wall. We just focus on the schedules and the boat reports to make sure everything is moving like it should.
