Our place is at C-1 in the Commerce Centre over at 78 Tardeo Mysore Road. It’s a solid location for us and we’ve been here quite some time. The building is one of those classic commercial spots where everyone is just busy doing their own thing. At Symbol Systems of India, our day-to-day usually involves a lot of technical talk and looking at hardware. We have rows of shelves with various parts and pieces, and the desks are usually covered in cables and small tools. It’s not the neatest office in the world, but we know where everything is. Mysore Road can get really jammed up during rush hour, so we often hear the honking from downstairs while we’re working. We focus on the systems side of things, making sure everything is hooked up and working like it should. It’s very practical work. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to make things look pretty; we just have the technicians and the office staff who keep the records. Sometimes we have a few people stop by to ask about specific parts, and we do our best to help them out from what we have in stock. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. We just show up, do the technical work, and make sure the customers are taken care of without any extra fluff. It is nothing fancy but it works for us.
