Sweeta Sarmalkar

I am Sweeta Sarmalkar and I run my business from Room No 10 on the ground floor of Amar Jyoti in Kandivali West. It is a pretty simple setup. I do not have a big signboard or a glass front. It is just a regular room in a residential building where I handle my work. Kandivali West is a crowded area, but my corner in Amar Jyoti stays relatively calm. I have been working from this room for a while now. It is where I keep all my records and do my daily tasks. There is no big team here, it is just me doing what needs to be done. Sometimes the room gets a bit full of papers and it might look unorganized to an outsider, but I have my own system for everything. I usually spend the whole day here, starting early in the morning and staying until the work is finished. People from the building or the nearby street often drop by to talk or ask about what I do. I do not have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. If you come to see me, you just walk in and we talk at my desk. It is a very direct way of working. I like being on the ground floor because it makes it easy for people to find me without having to use the lift. It is just a normal, everyday work life in a busy part of the city.
