Swastik Food Products

We run Swastik Food Products out of our place in Santacruz West, over in the Magarpatta City area of Hadapsar. It’s a bit of a journey to get here sometimes depending on the traffic, but we’ve been at this location for a good while. Our days are mostly about processing and packing. It’s a lot of manual work. We deal with various food items, and the air always smells like whatever we are working on that day. Sometimes it’s spices, other times it’s grains. The space isn’t very large, so we have to stay organized or we’d run out of room to move. We aren't a massive corporation with fancy offices. Our office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of paperwork on it. We spend our time talking to suppliers and making sure our products are ready for the local shops. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the doors open to get a breeze. The staff is small, and we all do a bit of everything. If a delivery comes in, everyone helps unload. It’s just how things work here. We don’t spend money on big ads. Most people find out about us because they see our name on the packages in the market. We just want to get the work done and go home feeling like we did a decent job. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is always to keep things moving along smoothly as we load up the crates.
