Our office is tucked away in Manisha Apartments, Room 105, on Church Road in Andheri East. It is a typical Mumbai apartment converted into a workspace, so it feels more like a home than a company office. Being in Andheri East means we deal with the usual Church Road traffic every single day, which is always a bit of a headache. We are right there in the Ol area, and it is a lively spot to be. Since we are in the food business, there is usually someone talking about a new recipe or a place they ate at over the weekend. We do not have a big fancy boardroom, just a table where we all sit and figure things out. It gets a bit crowded when the whole team is in, but it makes for good conversation. We started small and stayed that way because it is easier to manage things when you know everyone’s name. The kitchen area is probably the most used part of the place, for obvious reasons. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or looking at spreadsheets, but we always make time for a proper lunch together. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just want to do good work and enjoy what we are doing. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it is home for us.
