Swastik College

Swastik College is based in Room No 307 of the Hind Rajasthan Building. We are located in Dadar East, very close to the Dadar Railway Station. Being in such a central part of Mumbai means there is always a lot of noise and movement outside. The building is one of those old ones that has seen a lot of history. We’re just on one of the floors, so it’s not a huge campus or anything. It’s more of a functional space where students come for their specific sessions. We handle the paperwork and the teaching right there in the rooms. It can get a bit stuffy during the summer, but we have fans to keep things moving. We don't have a lobby with a receptionist; you just come in and find who you need. The trains passing by are a constant background sound. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. Most of our students appreciate that we’re so close to the station because it makes commuting easier. We don't put on any acts or try to look like a big university. We’re just a local college providing a place for people to get their education in the middle of the city. It’s tight quarters, but we make it work every day without much complaining. We just open up and get through the schedule.
