About Swami Interiors – Transportation & Logistics in Mumbai
At Swami Interiors, we spend our days over in Worli, right near the Marshall showroom. Being at number 9, we are in a pretty central spot, but the work we do is very hands-on. We have samples of wood and fabric scattered all over the place. Usually, you’ll find one of us with a measuring tape around our neck, trying to figure out how to make something fit. The office is more like a workshop really. There’s always the sound of someone sawing something or the smell of wood polish in the air. We don’t really have a big team of sales people. It’s just us doing the actual designing and making. Worli can get really busy with traffic, but once you step inside, it’s all about the project at hand. Sometimes we get stuck on a drawing for hours, or we have to go out to a site to see why a cupboard won't open right. It’s a bit of a messy process, getting interiors done, and our office shows that. There’s sawdust in the corners and piles of sketches on the desks. We just try to get the jobs done without too much fuss. It's a steady life, moving from one renovation to the next. We like being near the showroom because it’s easy for people to find us. Just a normal local business doing our thing and trying to keep the dust under control as much as possible while we work.
