Swagat Restaurant

Swagat Restaurant is down in Mahalaxmi, specifically at Jacob Circle. We are in the Mala Building, numbers 76/78 on K.K. Marg. If you know Saatrasta, you know it’s a bit of a tangle with all those roads meeting up. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, and we’re right in the middle of that energy. The 400011 area always has something going on, whether it's early morning or late at night. We've been in this building for a good while. It's an old structure, but it has character. We don't spend money on fancy decor or big signs. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen or out front talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. It’s a tight space sometimes, especially when the lunch rush hits and the street noise from K.K. Marg drifts in through the door. Working at Jacob Circle means you meet everyone. From office workers to people living in the neighborhood, it's a real mix. We keep things straightforward. There's no corporate handbook here. We just know how we like things done and we do them. The plumbing acts up sometimes, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it's our place. We are just part of the furniture in Mahalaxmi at this point. That's how we like it. We focus on the food and the people, and that is about it for us.
