We are located at N 003 on M G Road, which is a fairly central spot for us at Suyog Engineers Pvt Ltd. The office is situated on the ground floor, so it’s easy to duck in and out when we have to go to a site. It’s not a very large office, but we’ve managed to fit a few desks and a lot of cabinets for all our project files. M G Road is always humming with activity, and you can hear the buses and rickshaws going by all day long. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone ringing. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and discussing how to handle different technical issues that pop up. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in paperwork, but we eventually get through it. The walls have a few old photos of projects we worked on years ago, which look a bit faded now. It’s a straightforward environment without much in the way of decoration. We focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a practical place for practical work. Most people who visit us are used to the simple setup we have here. We just keep our heads down and work through the list of things to do.
