Surana Hospital & Research Centre

The Surana Hospital & Research Centre is located in Chembur East, right on the Sion Trombay Road. We are in the Suman Nagar area, near the BPCL petrol pump and right across from the Reliance Web World. This part of Mumbai is incredibly busy, and the Sion Trombay Road is almost never quiet. You can hear the trucks and buses going by all day and night. Because we are a hospital and a research centre, we have a bit more going on than a typical clinic. We have different departments and people working on various medical projects, but at the end of the day, it’s still just a place where sick people come to get help. The lobby is usually full of people because Chembur is such a crowded area. We try to keep things moving, but sometimes there’s a wait. We don't have any polished marketing slogans; we just try to keep the facility running and the research moving forward. The building is a bit of a landmark itself in this part of Suman Nagar. We spend a lot of time managing the staff and making sure the supplies for the research wing are coming in on time. It is a noisy, hectic, and very real environment to work in. We see people from all walks of life here, and we just focus on the practical side of medicine without any of the corporate fluff you might find elsewhere.
