You can find Suraj Electronics over on Double Road, 2nd Stage, at 88 D in Lower Parel. It’s a busy part of town, and our shop fits right in with the rest of the small businesses around here. We deal with all sorts of electronic stuff. The shelves are usually packed with components, wires, and old units we use for spare parts. It’s not the neatest place you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is kept. Lower Parel has changed a lot over the years with all the new buildings, but we’re still here doing the same kind of work. We spend a lot of time testing circuits and trying to figure out why something won't turn on. It can be frustrating when you can't find the fault, but we just keep at it until we do. There’s no corporate feel here; it’s just a regular local shop for the neighborhood. Most of the people who come in are from the nearby residential blocks. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't really need. If it’s broken, we look at it. If it can be fixed, we fix it. The work keeps us busy from morning till night. We’ve been working with electronics for a long time, so we’ve seen how things have moved from the old-style sets to the newer digital stuff. We just take each day as it comes and handle whatever shows up.
