Our place, Supra Dye Chem Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in Gala No. 34 on the first floor of the Meghal Industrial Estate. It’s right on Devi Dayal Road in Mulund West. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mulund, you know it’s always buzzing with trucks and people moving crates around. Our gala isn't anything special to look at. It’s got concrete floors that have been stained different colors over the years because we work with dyes and chemicals. We aren't one of those big companies with shiny offices and air conditioning in every room. It gets pretty hot here in the summer, and we just leave the big shutters open to get a bit of a breeze. We spend our days mixing batches, checking the quality of the pigments, and making sure the orders are ready for the local factories. Sometimes we get the orders wrong and have to fix them quickly, but that’s just part of life. We’ve been in this industrial estate for quite a long time. Most of the other shop owners nearby know us by name. We don't do any big advertising or have a sales team. We just wait for the phone to ring or for someone to walk up the stairs. It’s a bit dusty and loud because of the machinery nearby, but it’s where we do our work. We just focus on getting the right shade of blue or red for the next customer.
