Our place is tucked inside the Kohinoor Mill Compound over in Dadar East. If you know V.Y Dahiwalkar Marg, you know how hectic it can get with all the traffic and people moving around. Being in an old mill compound means the walls are thick and the ceilings are high, which is good for the fitness equipment we handle. Sunshine Fitness Technology isn't some glass-walled showroom; it’s more of a practical workspace where we tinker with machines. You can hear the trains from the station if the wind blows the right way. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy parts and checking cables. The floor is concrete and has some stains from the grease we use on the gym gear. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow turns inside the compound, but we manage to get them loaded eventually. Most of the staff here takes the local train to work. We drink tea from the stall just outside the main gate twice a day. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but we like it because it stays relatively cool inside even when the Mumbai sun is beating down on the street outside. We keep our inventory stacked up along the back wall, and there's always a half-finished project sitting on one of the benches. It’s just how we work every day. We’ve been here for years and the guard at the gate knows us all by name.
