Sunrise Chemicals

Sunrise Chemicals is tucked away on the second floor of a building at 207 Samuel Street, right in the heart of Masjid Bunder West. If you know this area, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the trucks and handcarts moving goods. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from that noise, though you can still hear the shouting from the street below. We deal with industrial chemicals and it’s mostly a lot of phone work and dealing with suppliers. The office is filled with old wooden desks and stacks of papers that have been around for years. We aren't into that modern corporate look; we just need a place to sit and get the orders done. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. There’s always a few jars of chemical samples sitting on the windowsills gathering a bit of dust. We’ve been at this location for a long time and the neighbors are all in similar trades. We start our day early, usually around nine, and by the time we leave, the market is still buzzing. It’s a lot of coordinating shipments and making sure the right grades of chemicals are being sent out. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just provide what the factories need and try to make sure everything arrives on time. It's practical, everyday work that keeps us going in this busy part of the city.
