Sunitaajs Salon

We've been here at Ashoka Tower for a while now. It's right opposite the main gate of Rahejas, so most folks in Borivali East know where we are. Sunitaajs Salon isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where you can get your hair done or get a quick cleanup. The traffic on Kuplupwadi Road can get a bit loud in the evenings, but inside it’s usually just us working away. We see a lot of the same faces every month. Some people stop by after work because we're easy to find. It’s Shop No 3. The chairs aren't the newest, but they do the job just fine. We keep things simple. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise, but nobody really minds. It’s a local spot. People come in, chat about their day, and head out. We don’t have any big signs or anything. Just the name on the door. It gets busy on weekends, especially when the neighbors have functions. We try to keep the place tidy, though with hair everywhere, it’s a constant task. If you’re walking down Kuplupwadi Road, you’ll see us. It’s just a basic salon for the community here. Nothing more, nothing less. We've been in this part of Mumbai for years and seen the area change quite a bit around the tower. The street lights outside flicker sometimes in the evening. We keep a small radio in the corner playing old songs for the customers. It's not a place where you'll find anything fancy, just a few chairs and some scissors that have seen a lot of use over the years.
