Sun Shine Cargo Service is located right near Naupada and the Bandra Terminal in Bandra East. Being so close to the terminal means there is constant movement. You can hear the trains and the announcements throughout the day. Our spot is usually filled with boxes and crates of all sizes. It gets a bit dusty with all the cargo coming in and out. We handle a lot of different things that people want to send to other cities. The area can get very congested, especially when the big trucks try to navigate the narrow lanes near the station. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is weighed correctly. It’s a fast-paced environment, and you have to be on your toes. There’s no fancy lobby for customers, just a counter and some space to stack goods. We have a few regular guys who help with the heavy lifting. The humidity in Bandra can be tough, so we drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when possible. Most of our day is spent coordinating with different transport agents. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s an essential one for the people around here who need to ship stuff. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the cargo keeps coming.
