Sun Jeevan Hospital

Sun Jeevan Hospital is situated right across from the Pipe Road Masjid in Kurla West. It's a very busy part of town with a lot of noise. There is always sound from the street traffic, but once you get inside the building, it’s a bit calmer for the patients. We see people from all walks of life here in Kurla every single day. The hospital has been around for a good while. We deal with all sorts of medical stuff, from fever to bigger things. Some days are slower than others, but usually, there's a queue starting early in the morning. The location near the masjid makes it very easy for people to give directions to us if someone is lost. We have a small team of doctors and nurses who work different shifts. The rooms are basic but they are functional for what we need. We focus on getting people some help without too much fuss or extra stuff. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to keep the fans going. Sometimes the power flickers, but we have a backup system for that. Working in Kurla West means you meet a lot of interesting characters. We try our best to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit hectic around here. It’s not a fancy private clinic, just a local hospital for the people around Pipe Road. We’re here most of the time if needed.
