Located at unit 119 in Goregaon East, we spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of moving things around. It is a busy part of the city, and our physical space definitely reflects that. There are usually boxes stacked up near the entrance and the sound of heavy vehicles passing by outside on the main road. The office itself is quite simple, with a couple of sturdy tables and a desk phone that seems to ring more often than it should. We have been at this address for a good while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Goregaon East has its own peculiar pace, especially when that midday heat really kicks in and everything slows down for a bit. Inside, it stays relatively cool despite the bustle outside. We do not have any decorative plants or fancy art on the walls, just some old calendars and the basic equipment needed for our daily tasks. It is a hands-on kind of environment where everyone knows exactly where everything is, even if it might look a bit messy to someone just walking in. The back room is where most of the heavy work happens, and we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. Sometimes the delivery drivers stop for a quick chat, which is a nice break. Most of us have worked here long enough to know the local tea stall owner by name. It is just a straightforward place where we handle our daily business.
