Solvchem

Our office is over in the B Wing, room 607 of the Satellite Gazebo building. It’s right on the Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road in Chakala. If you’ve ever been to Andheri East, you know how busy it gets around here. The metro is close by, so we hear the trains going past quite often. Solvchem is a name we’ve worked under for quite a while. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones, talking to suppliers and clients. It’s a modern building, but our office feels like a second home because we spend so much time here. The view from the sixth floor is mostly other office buildings and the constant stream of cars below. We deal with solvents and chemicals, mostly doing the coordination and paperwork side of things. It can be stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just deal with it. We aren't some giant corporation with a thousand rules. We are just a team of people trying to do our jobs well. The elevators in the building can be slow during lunch hour, so we usually just bring our own food. We have a small pantry where we make coffee and chat. It’s a professional environment but we keep it friendly and relaxed. No one wears a tie unless they absolutely have to. Our desks are a bit of a mess with files and sample bottles. We just focus on getting the daily list done. It's a lot of back and forth with the warehouse people to make sure everything is okay.
